In the last two years since taking ownership of Coffee PER (PER is an acronym for Processing Equipment and Repair) I have had hundreds of conversations with individuals with a passion for roasting coffee. I have to say that though I came into this company with a decent knowledge of the coffee roasting industry, I have learned a lot more during this time! Everybody has thier own coffee experience. ...so why not share some of the cool things I hear about or learn? Things about coffee roasting, coffee roaster maintenance, coffee roaster cleaning, best practices in coffee roasting methods, and so on.
The point of this then is to make each day roasting more exciting, interesting, productive, by bringing timely tips and tricks, roasting methods shared from the community of roastmasters using "The San Franciscan" and from myself, the guy who builds 'em.
