THE SAN FRANCISCAN 25lb/12Kg COFFEE ROASTER Model SF-25

• The San Franciscan Roaster is Made in the USA.

• Parts can be purchased in the USA and worldwide

• The roaster is a continuous batch roaster - it roasts and cools at the same time; therefore you can do four roasts per hour (100 lbs).

• Maintenance is easy and simple. The pipes are exterior and can be taken off to clean by removing the band clamps. Cooling tray detaches easily for cleaning.

• Maintenance is very minimal - lubrication of bearings every 30 days.

• The cooling sweep pivots off of lifetime bearings so no lubricating is necessary.

• The chaff cyclone is in the cylinder which sets behind the roaster, making it much easier to clean

• With the design of our ash tray on the front of the machine, broken beans can be removed easily.

The afterburner on the model SF-25 is an integral part of the roaster so another piece of equipment is not necessary. The afterburner is situated in the upper portion of the round cylinder. The chaff is collected in the lower 20% of this cylinder. The San Franciscan Roaster is a beuatiful machine that adds awe and ambiance to any roastery or coffee house setting.

Regarding physical size, the roaster is 8' long x 3' wide and needs an area of 10' x 12' on which to sit.

SUGGESTED INSTALLATION SPECIFICATIONS

There should be a minimum of 36" clearance completely around the machine.
The vent piping should be a class A, UL Approved, 8" inside diameter. The temperature rating should be no less than 1,400 degress continuous duty and 2,100 degrees intermittent.

Electric requirements:

• The machine is fused with 20 amp. main fuses.
• A 30 amp. power source to the machine will be more than adequate.
• 220 volt, 3 prong grounded plug-in.

Gas line requirements:

• If not more than 30', 3/4" black gas piping will be adequate; otherwise, check with your local gas company. Tell them the actual footage from the meter to your new roaster and that you need to be able to operate an appliance that will consume 2lbs of gas per hour at 7 water inch columns of gas pressure.

The roaster should be bolted with 4 1/2' floor anchor bolts. A roped off or fenced in operating area is suggested.

NOTE: Skin surfaces of afterburner can reach temperatures of 150 degrees F.
